Kurrents Tropical Wheatgrass Powder - #Review

What is Wheatgrass ?

 Wheatgrass is a natural health product having highly nutritious value. It is Natures Gift to Mankind for maintaining health & wellness. Wheatgrass is produced by allowing the sprouted organic wheat seeds to grow up to a height of about six inches till the green leaf begins to form a stem.

Directions
For best results, mix one scoop of powder in a glass having about 9 oz. of warm water and drink on an empty stomach in the morning. A teaspoon of honey may be added to enhance taste. My Review
So... This wheatgrass is used by the mister. I have yet to get up the courage to try it myself. I'm a wimp when it comes to supplemental powders. I plan to give it a try soon when I get some juice. The mister however drinks it every morning with just a bottle of water. He says it gives him energy throughout the day. He also said, he feels a difference in his digestive system. A little secret between you and I, he has some very unfortunate digestive issues. He has the misfortune to suffer from gallstones as well as severe lactose intolerance. He hasn't been experiencing any symptoms since he started drinking the wheatgrass daily. He said it has a sweet grassy taste but definitely grassy. He said he definitely will continue to drink it on a daily basis. He is already planning to buy another bottle and he hasn't even finished the first one. He is thoroughly satisfied with this product. He thinks we should all be drinking it daily as a family.

My review of it
I loved being able to do this mask at home. Usually you have to go to a spa for a dead sea mask. This one is available on Amazon for you to do at home. It was super easy to put on. The best way is usually to do it with a fan brush but I didn't have one so I just used my fingers. I applied it to my freshly washed face. I let it sit until it was completely dry, which took about 15 minutes. Then rinsed it off with warm water. I could feel that my skin was smoother than it started out. It can be a bit drying as it pulls the excess oils out of your skin so I wouldn't recommend it more than once aweek if you have dry skin. 

Overall I loved it.

Dispenserless Tape Review

I am one of those people who are perpetually looking for the tape that is in the tape dispenser to tape things up, but I always end up resorting to a roll without the dispenser. This leads me to either having to find scissors or bite through tape. I don't know about you but I'm just not fond of he flavor of tape.Then entered Dispenserless Tape.


I am so glad I found this tape. I no longer have to scrape at the tape to get it to lift or unfurl. I no longer have to search for scissors or bite through the tape. Most importantly I no longer am forced to have tape appetizers when I have lot of boxes to ship. I am one happy camper just for that.

So how does it work... This roll of tape is superb. Every 12" you will find a black oval. The oval is where you will find a perforation. It tears away easily into perfect 12" pieces of tape. The oval is also an area of non stickiness, this allows the tape to easily be unfurled for the next usage.

I also realized I could use it for other purposes. I am an avid jewelry maker in my free time. (I'll show you all some pictures one day.) Anyway, so I thought to myself, this tape would be perfect for those times when I spill little beads like seed beads. No more trying to vacuum or sweep up little beads. This could lower my overhead when using those tiny but cute little buggers.

 Simply wrap a piece around your hand sticky side out. Then press down on the areas of loose beads. Keep at it until you've got them all.

My Review 
    I am not sure if this actually did anything for cellulite as I only used it a couple times. I did however feel like my skin and body were less heavy. 

    Seaweed Powder has a very fishy/oceany smell. I should have expected that with the name of it. Hot water makes the smell more prevalent. I was however able to cover the smell with lemon essential oil.

     If you want to use it in the bath, I wold suggest you hide in the stalls

Fennel Essential Oil #Review


Fennel essential oil is a galactogogue. This oil can play an important role for lactating mothers. It can increase the amount of milk in them by boosting production of a hormone called estrogen. This benefits the baby as well as the mother. This milk also inherits some of the carminative and digestive properties of fennel oil and protects the baby from flatulence, indigestion and gas, which are very common in infants.

For these reasons, I created a boobie butter. I combined the fennel oil with a combination of coconut oil and shea butter. I mixed 2 TBSP Shea butter and 2 TBSP coconut oil with 10 drops of Fennel Essential Oil. I started by whipping the shea butter and coconut oil together with my hand mixer. Then I gradually added the fennel oil to the base while continuing to whip it.

It has increased her milk supply as well as aided in preventing sore nipples.

My Usage

So after researching and finding all this information, I decided to make a tomato basil soap. Basil essential oil has a slight herbal licorice smell. Even after making soap, the smell still came through. I was pleasantly surprised by the scent.

Always run recipes through a lye calculator. You can also experiment with different oils if you want.

Mix the water and lye in a well ventilated area. Remember when mixing snow (lye) falls on the lake (water). Mix it slowly together with the frozen tomato juice in an ice water bath. Pour lye mixture into melted oils. Mix with stick blender until you reach a thin pudding like consistency (also called trace). Add 15-30 drops of Basil essential oil.  Mix a little longer if you want to make designs. If not, pour batter into your soap mold. I like a sturdy loaf mold but the options are almost endless. Never use an aluminum or metal pan though. Let sit for 24-48 hours. Cut into the slices you desire. Let cure 4-6 weeks

My Review:

So first of all, this is an email based program. That is actually awesome for me, because we have a tendency of misplacing papers. It is a daily delivery system so you don't have to go searching for old emails. Another plus.

Z doesn't have any learning disabilities that we know of but I thought it would be good to help him get ahead. I must say he is progressing nicely. I could see this being very useful for a kiddo with a learning disability or even to help a teacher who works with those types of students.

My results:
Now I didn't see any rapid weight loss but I also did not take it the entire month. I took this product for approximately one week and then I had to quit it. 

Why did I quit it, you ask?
I quit taking it because it was making me jittery. I felt like my heart was speeding and trying to jump out of my body. To me, that is not a good energy boost. Pop Goes Lullaby 4 Review - Soothe the savage beast!!!


Do you know what a 3 month old is like when they are sleepy but don't want to sleep? They can quite easily be described as Savage Beasts. Oh sure, they pretend to be all cute and cuddly. They are just trying to lull you into a false sense of security. As soon as you think it's safe and they're gonna sleep, they start screaming like banshees.

Well I confused this one and won the battle. What was my tactic you ask? Aha... She went to scream and I beat her to it. She did not seem amused by my screaming but then again I am never amused by hers. While she is quiet and confused is when I enact the second portion of this devious plan...soft music.

She got lucky this go round as we had some new music to test and review. It was Pop Goes Lullaby 4 by Jammy Jams. It seemed to keep her calm but not lull her to sleep. I figure she is just a tad difficult though. I'm sure you are wondering where do I find it, what is it, how much does it cost? Well I will answer all these questions after we get some basic information from the manufacturer.

 One of my personal favorites is the lullaby rendition of All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor. Baby A seemed to enjoy it as well. It had the ability to keep her super calm. I was hoping it would put her to sleep but I had no such luck with this collection of songs. This company actually offers a variety of mommy and daddy friendly lullaby instrumentals. Baby A and I ventured to a different CD. It eased her from calm to sleep without any Savage Beast antics.

There is one on their website that received a 5 out of 5 from us. We couldn't just listen to one set of lullabies. The one Baby A liked most was Once Upon A Rhyme 2. There are lots of other options. So if this doesn't fit, keep listening and you will.

    Writing with Z


    Hey guys.

    Z and I have been offered the opportunity to test out a handwriting software. I am super excited about it, because I want him to be able to write legibly by the time Kindergrten starts in August. Woo Hoo!!!! From browsing the company's site, I can already tell this is going to work out pretty darn good.

    Z is a total left hander. This makes it a bit more difficult for me because I'm right handed. This is another reason I am excited about the software. It takes some of the stress off me. We took it for a test run yesterday. Let me tell you, he got super pumped to see just his name on the sheet.

     So I have been recently trying out a new deep conditioner. I have super kinky curly natural hair. I would say it's 4a-ish. My hair is generally very dry almost brittle. I have used this conditioner several times. I have to say it is an awesome find. You are probably wondering what it is. It is an Argan oil hair mask by Instanaturals. I have also used it a couple times in conjunction with the Instanatural Argan Oil Hair Treatment. Both of these have become instant staples in my hair care routine.

    My final thoughts....
